Well, today was absolutely mad. I woke up to an email from Stephen saying "I hope you're ready for a flood: I'm tweeting your website". And this afternoon, he did. The result was thousands and thousands of people hitting the site at the same time, and the credits rolled in!Stephen's seal of approval has helped build our reputation and will certainly be an asset in the future. Thank you Stephen!
We've never sold so many credits in such a short space of time. This evening, I thought I'd take a look at the lists to reassure myself that it was all true. Whilst doing so, I found some rather strange entries. I thought I'd share some of them with you. They made us laugh at least. (these are all real entries by the way; I'm not making them up.)
Firstly I would like to thank Just A. Pirate for buying a credit today. Thank you for going to the inevitable trouble of finding a connection on the ship. Very kind of you.
Kit the Giant Girl also made an appearance in the credits. Inside that giant body is a giant heart that just wants to help.
It was very kind of Robyn A Bank to buy a credit whilst being in the evident sticky situation he was in. Perhaps Otis the Dwarf who bought a credit at around about the same time was his accomplice. Anyway Otis, I don't care how you spend you're free time, I'd just like to say thanks on behalf of all of us. I know things haven't been easy for you recently.
Balou, the best sheepdog ever managed to paw his way onto the site to buy a credit today. He's evidently a sheepdog, but this one's going all the way to Hollywood. I can see it.
However, I think the most special credit buyer today has been little Molly Hellary, most probably the World's first Feline film producer. Her owners posted this picture on twitter just after Molly had bought her credit. She is seeing stars in her eyes.
We're very happy to have Molly in the credits.
This picture (by either Phil Hellary or Catherine Griffin I presume) has inspired us to request more pet producers. We love the idea that this project isn't just limited to humans.
Buy your pet a credit, send me a picture adrianbliss@buyacredit.com and I'll get it on here!

Nice execution, but this isn't a totally original idea. Seems a cross between the1secondfilm.com - which sells $1 Producer Credits on a movie w/ tons of celebs, and the milliondollarhomepage.com, which sells ad pixels.
Those were the firsts, as far as I know. Also, The One Second Film already has lots of cat and dog producers, LOL. Good luck though.
